Is it better to post DXF or IGES versions of these components? What about a tarball of these drawing files?

I do not have any idea what's better, but JPG and PNG files are the only one to put into the WIKI. I would like to be able to upload PDF's. But our WIKI is refusing this format.

It will be possible to change that configuration once the wiki is moved to the teams own server. I don't know about the status of that.

Hmmmm.... I would think that IGES files are what most solid modeling CAD packages support. Having only a graphical image means that you have to re-create the geometry of the part. It would be like have only JPG files of code listings.

or the collada format would be good for some of us :)
this format has the broadest use & application in open source.

I can offer:
- Acis SAT *.SAT) Version up to 15.0
- VRML (*.WRL)
- STL (*.STL)

I think this files working files, so I do not want them to bee too public.
The blueprints can bee used by everybody, but I think construction files shuld be kept in a restricted group of "workers".

The new photos look quite awesome, Jörg!
As for the blueprints, I think it is fine with image format for now; it is the most convenient for web publishing.

There are limits!

Dear air.command the cogwheels are (modified) standard parts from NOZAG or MAEDLER as well as the bearings (PERMAGLIDE) are.

Hi Jörg,

Looks interesting. Are you going to have all the electronics on one side of the rover?

No!
The both parts will be the same, it takes a while to do all of the parts, so i try this configuration first.

Yes, it is so hard to build space compliance components!
Good Job, Joerg.

Looks cool. I didn't know Eagle could do such rendering but I only used version 4.

This is an ULP (UserLanguageProgramm) working also with version 4.x, then the output file is imported to RovRay
